Our School

About our School

At Hopi Elementary, education goes beyond traditional boundaries to foster meaningful connections, academic excellence, and a strong sense of community. Hopi is the perfect choice for families seeking a comprehensive and personalized learning experience.

Hopi embraces differentiated learning and, more importantly, personalization of learning. Our commitment is to meet students where they are every day, socially, emotionally, and academically, creating a culture of belonging, dignity, and respect. Daily morning meetups, build connections, led by students, it sets the tone for the day, priming young minds for learning. It's a point of connection that aligns with our commitment to knowing every student's story, fostering trust, and creating a positive learning environment.

At Hopi, we view parents as partners in education. With around 50 parents volunteering weekly, the strong partnership with the community continues to grow. Parental involvement is integral to creating a supportive learning environment for all our students.

Hopi focuses on being data-informed and student-centered in our practice. Our collaborative teaching teams meet weekly, setting SMART goals and implementing quarterly cycle goals that prioritize student growth.

All Hopi Hawks enjoy SOAR (Students on Academic Reach). SOAR is the intervention block designed to cater to the individual needs of every student. Gifted, at-risk, and average learners receive tailored support during this time, resulting in evident academic growth across the board.

Hopi recently celebrated its 10th year as a PBIS school and received the highest district rating of 98%. Collective efficacy and consistent messages from adults about high expectations and support contribute to a positive and transformative school culture that aligns the academic with the behavioral.

Hopi offers a diverse range of clubs, including music, band, art, strings, environmental club, math Olympiad, and student government. Our newly introduced Girls on the Run club combines learning with running, empowering young girls in a powerful and healthy way.

With 85% of the Hopi staff being distinguished or highly effective, we take pride in the quality and dedication of our educators, ensuring an environment where every child can thrive.

Choosing Hopi Elementary means choosing an educational journey that nurtures not only academic success but also personal growth, connections, and a sense of belonging. At Hopi, we ignite the spark for a lifetime of learning and achievement.
